Food is very good, staff are very friendly. I would say the food is slightly a bit too pricey for the portions you receive however it's all presented beautifully and you can taste the quality.
What a fabulous breakfast!! The harissa sweetcorn fritters were absolutely delicious! The spiced hollandaise was a perfect accompaniment to the poached eggs. The service was friendly and attentive. There were plenty of seats upstairs. I’m looking forward to returning again in the near future!!
Wonderful friendly staff and fantastic breakfast, everything was exceptional! Couldn’t fault a thing. Thank you very much for a great visit
The quality of food and coffee is very good. The food is hot enough, fresh and the fried food not oily.
We loved this place in every way. I've been really unwell for a couple of months, and it was my first foray into eating out because it's my birthday. I'm quite restricted in what I can eat, for now, and was upset I couldn't have any of the standard menu items. They were so wonderful and made me my own unique salad with safe ingredients, and it exceeded all my expectations. It really made my day. The ambience of the place and the service was top-notch, as well as the food. I can't wait to go back when I'm well enough to eat from their usual menu.
Came to the Hide for my partners birthday and they did the most fantastic job of my special request. I asked for a graze board and I even had special dietary requirements and they did a beautiful job. The staff were amazing and really made our trip special. Thanks so much all x
“I tried the Festive Sandwich for the first time today and I was genuinely impressed. It exceeded my expectations! The flavor combination was amazing and the freshness of the bread made it even better. Great job — I’ll definitely be coming back!”
A beautiful cafe in Pocklington with a lovely delicatessen. Cheesecake was really nice. Coffee portion very generous and taste great. Definitely worth a coffee and cake if you’re in this neck of the woods. Thanks for reading
